Cullen also said he had a lot of time for players like Fletch, but cannot afford the contracts they were accustomed to. |

Not quite sure I agree with this. Having seen Fev with Harris missing and with him playing I think you are missing a trick there. They looked a completely different player with him in the side and he was a major factor in the win at the Stobart.
I think you will struggle to replace him, but then again he seemed to be injured for large parts of the season so maybe you won't notice. I'm less worried about you as a team with him gone.... not that I knew he had mind..  |

There was some to-ing and fro-ing but in the end the figure was fairly close to the amount Widnes wanted and we have done very well out of this. It paid dividends to stand our ground and made the sum we paid Swinton for Ian Watson look fairly small.
Worryingly also for Fev is the fact that any transfer fee paid may also count on the salary cap!! Although whether that is still the case I'm not sure. |

Yes and Grayshon and co though, good move prob but still paying a lot for a few i'd expect and I am hopefull that the Vikings staying legally under cap will go noticed at RFL HQ! |

You paid a transfer fee for Ian Watson? 
Yes suppose it does free up some on the salary cap. I remember when Brad Davis signed for us then went back and said Cas had come in for him and he wanted to go there. Think we got about a grand.  |
