Apparently confirmed by the NWC, Bolton Mets have folded.





Terrible news, especially for those die-hards who've tried to keep things going for so long. I know there have been internal differences and a few have moved on but we'd all hoped they would at least see the season out and built for next year.



Ps. any Bolton players looking to carry on playing, give me a shout, we've a great bunch of lads, we're local and always welcome new faces - don't let the RL die in you!!

well, after unpacking the kit, water bottles, balls etc. from the car I went to B&Q, Bury Market, Tesco and visited three players at their house to sign their coaching forms...don't think i can do that another weekend ever!

Doesnt sound fun at all, means I'll have to go shopping the other half

Depends...if there's no game a few lads will take work or are hen-pecked to stay at home, but the rest either get together for a run around, or meet a bit later for a few ales.
