we had to go there and get the win and we did against a much improved crossfields team, the team sheet was different from last game different faces, quicker line speed and fitter outfit and more organised in attack, i did notice their first team didnt have a game, they told us in the showers they had a few in, but when there coach comes in at the end and says you boys really deserved that im guessing there was a few more than they made out.



we started on fire 3 tries after 20 minutes and looked like we was really in command of the game then all of a sudden massive brawl in which a crossfield player/coward ran from behind after it had stopped and took a total airshot missed and ran off, the ref sent him off and reversed his decision at half timethis again i put down to the fact they were all on first name terms with the ref, went in 14-8 at half time again the start of the second half seen some good rugby by the boars and we was 26 14 and had to play hang on for the last 10 minutes,



our aim was a win and we got it, look forward to the bury game next week just hope there isnt much overtime going up there, or they didnt get many injuries last game, or no stag doos, parents evenings etc as we have waited a while to play bury and if we win this we need 1 win against westhoughton or newton to guarentee the league

Probably their prop who ran in from behind, he did it against our lads too, but when it was going toe to toe he didnt wanna know.

Think it was a second row who did it, was quite funny when all Crofields line and players were asking why he was sent off and he simply kept saying Cheap Shot thats why. But the ref then come out and said it wasnt a red only a sin bin because he didnt connect properly? work that one out!!!

Then the lad that was sent off/sin binned swapped shirts with another player when he came back on.

we have crosfields away on saturday, this ref sounds awful, best not get him. i think everyones out to get the league leaders. Wild boars have more discipline than in previous years maybe a reason why ur walking away with the league this year

Think Newton should win this one just depends if Crosfields throw any 1st teamers in. Think Wigan v Widnes will be to close to call to going for a draw. Gone for Cuthberts why they are at home, and think Rylands will be to strong for westhoughton but hope i am proved wrong.



Obviously going for a win for us against Bury, never played each other before so be a good game. how are Bury doing for a team??

We've placed adverts in the local press and fly-posted the schools, fingers crossed we'll scrape enough unless they have paper rounds.

Daft thing is ive been waiting for a text or something all morning to say Bury wont be coming which is daft really when you assume a team is going to Sh*t out rather than come and play rugby. Bet Bury lads will come on and say its unlucky lads working injured and all that crap but 4 out of 4 games giving the game away isnt unlucky its really embrassing. Espically when they seem to be completing every other fixture.



Just hope we can sort the Newton game out and bury shoudl either start playing or there fixtures or fold.

They've phoned and said they can't get a team...again.

Not going to make any excuses or hide from it - me and Cronus have been very badly let down after putting in hours of work. We had 15 and were coming after getting people sorted yesterday. I've been badly let down by a series of players who pulled out this morning. Have told them that I am personally embarressed by what's happened and I said the same to Nicole who I know had to do a lot to get things on on the Wild Boar side. I can't do more than apologise to those let down which is I'll I can really say.



Wondering whether its worth the hassle anymore to be honest. Its hard enough setting up a club and getting by without our own side letting us down.

Can't really add anything to mmp's comments. We've been badly let down this morning by several players after having 15 confirmed last night. We went to 13 early this morning and were still coming and then more pulled out. I couldn't even tell you if their reasons are genuine. I don't blame mmp for feeling fed up, it's a lot of effort (particularly from him) with little reward and some players taking the p[ss.



The Wild Boars lads on here can throw all the abuse they like, I don't blame them.
