why does nwc website say Rylands get 4pts for beating westhoughton at weekend? my first season so what am i missing? why 4pts?

they will not have yet played each other home or away so would have agreed to play once but for the points from both the home game and away game - helps get the season finished on time.

Thing Wigan will win but i dont think it will be as one sided as suggested above chorley have got alot better as the season as gone on and looked to have alot of new younger quickers players than 1st time around. Think Lions will beat Crosfields. Newton to beat Bury Looks like bury are light on numbers and newtons not a easy place to go and get a win. Widnes to pip it against Cuthberts the narrow pitch should make it a close game. Hopefully Westhoughton will get a team and we can pick up a win. dont want 2 of our last 3 games 18-0's

Bulldogs seem much improved with what look like new recruits, Eccleston hard to beat at home (what happened last week??), I'm hoping some of our let-downs from last week will pull their fingers out (they're getting a beasting tonight!), Cuthberts have been strong all year, Wild Boars too strong if Westhoughton turn up.

I think westhoughton will play us dont think they have let us down yet. Cant see why they wont they played away at Rylands last week so why not play us at home??

why does nobody seem to look forward to the wild boar game? i for one cant wait for them to come to our place. there a load of lads who just wanna play rugby, plus nothing better than playing the lead leaders, gotta up your game. Westhoughton will turn up and put in a good show at home

wildboars won 66 - 26 we missed alot of conversions but i was suprised at how westhhoughton came out second half really did there fans proud we was 40 - 6 up at half time so close second half, well dont lads and good luck for rest of the season

i personally dont mean be direpectful but i think blackbrook will just rin riot, But who do we all think ?

personally hoping it a brusing encounter so Wild Boar will be abit ropey when we play them a week later. Blackbrook will not run riot. FACT!!



Newton 14 - 22 Bury, Bury did themselves proud down at our place on saturday, there defence was superb, we made lots of silly mistakes in attack but we'll work on that this week in training! just a bad day at the office for us, we'll bounce back. Bury's number 10 was impressive! best player on park in my opinion!!

Rumour has is it Cronus didn't make the journey as he heard Dipper was gunning for him!!!

dropped the ball three times in our own 20...gave me a few heart attacks!



Our completion rate was well up on normal but still not as high as it should be but everyone contributed on Saturday. Was a good game with plenty of good hits from both sides - Think we've lost one for the rest of the season through injury though and a couple of others picked up knocks. we ended the game with a prop playing full-back!!!

Cronus is banned from playing anyway by his soon to be Mrs. he gets married in less than two weeks now...

Haha he'll love that - I'll give him one thing, he makes an impression! Has a mouth on him as well...



I believe it was a belting game, Newton apparently very good with ball in hand barring a few errors, and our defence was pretty solid though we were patchy going forward.





He asked me to get a round in, there was no way I was going.

Any particular reason you think they will run riot?



Surprised by a few of the results this week, Bury winning at newton and espically the Chorley one well played.

Its A Matter of opinion so i dont want to start anythng here, but i think the style and passion that blackbrook play will tear them apart. Wild Boars jut ave big forwards and rely on them to bully defences but brook will easy match them if not suppass theres and brook have very skillful halfbacks like the small number 7 and they;ve had a number of 6's but eiherway you deffinatley have to watch the half backs to it to boars, i personally think the magine of the full time score at he end will easy be greater than 30 points to the away side.

Out of interest when was the last time you seen the boars play?

Itl be a good game but Wild Boars all day for me.

About 3 weeks ago agenst chorley and we all know chroley arent the greatest ( no disrespect) .. but all this is words well just have to see saturday. but disagree with league or union im going for blackbrook all the way.

and not to mention if you look at the group 'Bowl' pleople are backing my decision to bvlackbrook to win.
