Don't matter if you dominated the game or not mate , you didn't get the win !! Sorry if that comes across as harsh but the fact is if you look back through this thread Irlam fans and players alike have been saying we're gonna do this , we're gonna do that and they haven't backed it up with the result

Sometimes you gotta ride your luck a little and tough the win out ( not that i'm suggesting this was the case ) . That's what good teams do . The result don't mean that much anyway theres a lot of rugby to be played between now and April . Good luck for the rest of the season .

Today was a massive win for spring view who travelled to irlam with several first choice players missing. Irlam MAY have been the better team but but it's the sign of a good team when they can travel to Irlam under strength and come away with a win. Credit must go to all the players the coaches and the backroom staff for this win

fair play not disputing what your saying just a real kick in the teeth as we did more than enough to win the game think games of this nature ie more or less title deciders should be officiated by linesman and some of the better referees ,Today was an important game and i'm not blaming the ref as we had enough chances to finish you off but he really did have a knack of breaking our momentum . Again not using the ref as an excuse good look for the rest of the season and see you next year

Today was a top encounter, fought out by 2 very contrasting but commited sides>



decisions are decisions and we have been on the wrong side of allot with that particular official on more than one occasion over the last few years....lets be honest though, we may have had allot of decisions in our favour, but Irlams try came on the back of a blatent forward pass.



Credit were its due, irlam play the game hard and are well drilled, well done.



But today we did the job we went to Irlam to do and I am one proud bloke tonight. But like i said last week, no trophies were handed out today....so i look forward to Ulverston next week.

no moaning about this, i did say sring view looked like a different team that we played against at your place.

We only had 1 player missing so im not saying a few were out.

The ref didnt help but not moaning about that either as irlam had a lot of chances they didnt take.

Full credit to spring view for keeping in the game and you didnt let your heads go down even when we went ahead.

Irlam were the better side through out the game but failed to capatalise on the possesion

dont think anyone has spoke about cricket scores mate, langworthy have come on leaps and bounds in a quick space of time.

Langworthy will be a tough game and irlam certainly cant afford to take their foot off the gas at any point in the game.

It will be a good tough game from two solid salford teams which is good for salford .

that ref was a joke for the hornets vs spring view. far to old to ref any game in any divison. as for the langworthy vs irlam being off due to a frozen pitch is a load of wet talk. i drove past and the kids football teams were playin on there at 11. i also took my dog for a walk on the rabbit hills at 1 n the pitch was soft.

I for 1 hope spring view don't slip up.for two reasons. 1 is they were unlucky not to come up last year and 2 is irlam are f***ing w4nk

HFH, as a Widnes side will still be in div 2, and will look forward to a visit to Salford. Maybe the 'City Reds' stadium will be built by then, then again maybe not
