Some big games this weekend we at higgy need the 2 points against ulv and hope lang slip up its getting squicky bum time at the bottom off the table.

Langworthy and Higginshaw will both be in division 3 next season as Golbourne dropped out remember so only 1 will go down.

it will be chaos working out the divisions for next year with possible teams coming in from NCL, some teams going to summer, plenty of drop outs this year already, etc. - i wouldnt pay any attention to where people are now ending up.

Higgy 24 ulv 28 well beaten in second half ulva taught us a valubale lesson

Great result for us yesterday we were losing 24 - 6 at half time so when we won we were absoloutly bouncing show what a great team spirit we have in our side!

Full credit must go to Higginshaw they are a tough team to break down.

With Leyland and Hindpool losing that puts us 3rd with Leyland at home next week cant wait should be a cracking game.

I heard that Hindpool game got abandond because of brawling and spectators on the pitch don't know if its true!

It got abandonned with about 5 mins left. Ref said he did it because of the abuse he was getting from the sideline, to be fair he was getting some stick but it was nothing to bad and he was terrible for both teams and spoilt what is always a good game. Spectators werent on the pitch it was the players in with the spectators but it wasnt a brawl although every player was in it was only pushing and shoving and not a punch was thrown, was more like a benny hill sketch.

And the ref was *** ********, nuff said.

Not a single game with more than an 8 point difference.....not just us scraping by then!





Every game looks like they were crackers....I'll say it again, Div 3 next yea is gonna be a ball ache to get out of!

I did manage to watch most of yesterdays game langworthy against haresfinch. I thought it was funny when some of haresfinch fans or players watching started shouting that they couldn't believe langworthy had scored past them, as they are the team in the league. Ha ha if they are that , why did the beat u at home, and to be honest u only just won yesterday.

Im sorry but Ive got to respond to this. Ive never heard so much tripe in all my life!!

The reason we couldnt believe Langworthy scored was more down to frustration due to the fact we completely dominated the first half as the 16.0 scoreline suggested at that point. Haresfinch switched off right before half time & Langowrthy scored a break away try after a bad bounce of the ball. The 2nd half was a tighter contest but I think in the end the best team won. Im sure you will argue with that statement aswel but never mind!

We have no complaints about Langworthy beating us at our place as we didnt deserve to win that day, & Im sure the rest of the Haresfinch lads would agree with that.

I know most of the Langworthy lads & Im sure they would all agree with what I have said above.

Like Baz says to be honest we was lucky to go in at halftime only 10 points down, haresfinch wanted it more in the first half than we did and we looked a knackered team after about 20 in the first half, i thought we played miles better in the second half and our fitness really came to the fore and was unlucky not to come away with something but all credit to haresfinch they deserved there victory in the end, it was a good hard game between two good teams in a really competitive division!!!!

who do you play for then? you might be thinking about the old langworthy there, yeah we like to play it hard but fair, every now and again we get a little excitied but so do most teams when you both want to win!!!!

Fair do, then mate I thought u team did play well and it was a great game to watch, thought u little number 7 had a great game and u number 9 did well to. Thought u number 12 fancied himself as a bit of a bully boy, but disapeared as the game went on. As for langworthy I thought u number 6, 3 played well and the prop forward not sure what number think it was 17 he was the captain played really good. Good look to both teams for the future. Looks like I am working the next couple of weekend so won't get to see any of the games.

was surprised to see how close Langworthy v Haresfinch ended. I watched until half time and thought Haresfinch were well on top until that (very good) score just before half time. I went to watch Folly Lane instead assuming that Haresfinch would win by more. Well done Worthy.

My playing days are well over, far to old now pal, just enjoy watching.
