Seconded - but i wouldn't expect to see anything else from the man from Spring View.

cowies id give credit where its due, like i said langworthy played well but the referee was really poor against us.

id give langworthy more credit if they would have played on the saturday but they give the points away to stay fresh for us.

Langworthy have come a long way since we played them 2 years ago but to give the game away like that on saturday was pathetic !!!!

We didn't give the game away on purpose last saturday to stay fresh for irlam, we honestly didn't have enough players to play due to work committments, injuries etc.etc.

boohoo...we won, you lost...deal with it

we are going in division 2 you aint lol

but like i said fair play to your team they performed well !

Haresfinch v Higginshaw - Finch by 12

Irlam Hornets v Burtonwood Bridge - Hornets by 20

Leyland Warriors v Hindpool - Warriors by 4



What does everyone else reckon?

Haresfinch by 4 (Higginshaw arent as bad as the league suggests)

Irlam by a lot

Leyland by 4 (but very low scoring game)

This is what I put at the start of the season, and I was right spring view should of been promoted last year but it's probably done them a huge favor that they weren't. They have had to rebuild and have clinched division 3.

Congratulations to all at spring view.

Springview defo deserved to win the league WELL DONE, irlam can play well, it's just some of them that think they are big men and start playing dirty, can rid of these players and u may have a good team for next season, if u don't u will get found out next season and end up coming back down again ( bunch of bully boys). I Personaly hope this doesn't happen. I would have thought langworthy would have finished higher, started the season off well, then lost a few, but played some great games eg SV at home and irlam at home WELL DONE. If u guys play like that next season u will be the ones to beat.

Lets have a bit of fun and list the best players in NWC 3 try and do it for each team, if u can remember.

I play for langworthy and yeah we did have a great start to the season but with every team work commitments and injuries kick in but i think we will be better next season Congrats to spring view and irlam

Well i play for Ulv, going off whos got most mom's for us I'll say our hooker, big guy, scoots a lot haha

Langworthy - 6, 3

Spring View - all round a good team, good full back and 6

Haresfinch - hooker stands out for me, very quick and strong

Higgy - good young hooker

hindpool - centre with scrum hat (sneesby), full back (ginger)

heysham - 13 (big guy), big prop, 6/7

From the opposing teams we`ve played i`d go for



1:Fullbacks at Leyland or Langworthy,good at kick returns

Centres at Heysham and Irlam (both big guys)

Stand off at Langworthy(everything comes of him)

Fat Scrum half from Higgy(sorry sweeney )or the young un from Pilks,gret kicking game at ours

Props at Irlam(sh%t house) and the big prop for Heysham

2nd Row at Irlam (tall guy who runs good lines on the edges,Haresfinch lad or Dixon from Heysham(works all day for team).

Hooker from Finch(dummy half runs are a pain to defend) ws goin go for Irlam lad but he gobs off to much

loose forward from Heysham (Walker) good lad,glad he was injured against us tho,Hindpool player,only a young lad but strong as an ox.



Think our lads were good,but the outstanding ones which probably stand out are 1,6,9,and 13

Also looks like, smells like and has the brains of an ox

Greetings sports fans, I thought I would pass on my words of wisdom regardin who I rate as the best players in division 3; I thought I would do it slightly different from other folks and do a 1-13 obviously without names, only descriptions and there associated clubs;



1.Leylands full back, beutiful returner of the ball, and as brave as a lion.

Or springs full back, try machine.

2. Tall thin one from springview, again, excellent runner from dummy half when getting out of there own half, great try finisher.

3.Irlams gangly centre, strong as an ox with good aggression.

4.Springviews dosey looking centre, superb tackling rate.

5. Fast fella from hindpool, short chap.

6.Tangoman from springs.

7.Burtonwood half back...good from dummy half.

8.Skin headed guy from springs, great engine for a big guy, never stops runnin. Or his bald head mate from springs with the offload.

9.Springs industrious nine, as dangerous as they come from the play the ball great hands.

10. Irlams ball handling prop.

11.Burtonwood fella, plays all over the pack, dark haired fella, runs himself into the ground.

12.Ulverstons short stocky back rower, players either back row or thirteen.

13.Springs 13, simply a machine.

According to NWC website Irlam drew 2-2 with Pilks a yesterday....this fater Burtonwood gave them the points, Is this right?

FINCH 56 HIGGY 22, well deserved to finch every single player played great on the day good luck for your last game and next season.



HIGGY come on boys we was poor yesterday so lets make up for it with a win against heysham

well done to all the lads at spring view top effort gutted i got injured early on but will be back nxt season cant wait to play in div 2
