Thought our home stadium was now the Lane - we're not going to increase the crowd size at Don valley now matter how much the student tickets are.

A student ticket is ideal for the Lane as theres loads of students in the city centre,With four or more games at don Valley it's a waste of time as there would be no value,Same with the corporate fridays,Its basically back to what was happening before we had Bramall Lane,I see a fizzling out of the lane and back to don Valley for good in the near future,Same with the football world cup bid and hosting major events,think the interest will be lost.Looking in my crystal ball,rotherham move into there new stadium then we shift permanently back in at doom valley.

I really hope my crystal ball is wrong,I'm only going on putting two and two together and knowing United will not help anybody unless they are getting somthing out of it,Crowds off 1k hardly cover the costs of putting a game on,They want the big games which there not getting,If it doesnt happen soon i think theyll ditch us off,Just my opinion,could be wrong.

well just got my season ticket application with the new fixture list and only 3 matches at bramall lane the rest at donvalley stadium bang goes the crowd and i wont be getting a season ticket this season cause i will be working nearly all friday evenings so much for mark saying we would be playing most home games at the lane that worked out well

Bit controversial but with only having limited number of games at the Lane and a bit of messing about,would an approach to the darkside and Hillsborough be an idea,Would they be more helpful,entertaining ie more games,better partnership,Just a thought,Jabba the hut might even comeback.Obviosuly not as modern stadium,facilities etc but could do a job.

Leaving any partisan football loyalties out of it Hillsborough would fit the bill because….just for starters.

1. It’s on a tram route

2. There is a good bus service from the city via either Penistone Road or Middlewood road.

3. Parking is more than adequate around the stadium (Herries Road South etc)

4. Take-aways on Middlewood road plus stuff like Pizza Hut at

5. Many away fans arrive into Sheffield via the A61 anyway

6. The Park Hotel would be a great base for home supporters on match days and supporters club meetings.
