Quote Steeleagle="Steeleagle"Danny Mills is shocking and everybody knows it, his lack of passion and desire would put any amateur to shame.
Simon Brown against Featherstone threw a forward pass(by a mile), to a player standing no more than a couple of feet to the side of him on the second tackle ten yards from the line, that was shocking from a player that should be the brains behind the operation, criminal! This is when we had a genuine chance of getting back in the game against a team that i'd wager were having their poorest game for many a year. Why wasn't he dropped for at least one game? What message does this give to any aspiring players? Putting this incident to one side is distribution skills on a good day are at best ordinary, his kicking this year has been a let down on what we would have expected after the taster we got at the back end of last season and he brings absolutely nothing else to the table.
Alex Szostak only tackles those players that run straight at him, it's not as if he hasn't got speed, His second row partner shows him up for what he is, rubbish! The rest of his game lacks passion. I can count the good games he has had for us on one hand.'"
Right now I'm absolutely convinced you're a Donny fan/Dewsbury fan/some other sad bloke on the wind up. That is the biggest pile of nonsense I have ever read in my life.
Danny Mills I agree is not good enough.
Simon Brown has, along with Henderson and Rowe and maybe Menzie, been one of the stand out players for me this season. You're seriously suggesting we should drop him for one forward pass? Drop our main playmaker for one forward pass? If Tomkins or Sinfield threw a forward pass, do you think Wigan or Leeds would drop them? Course they wouldn't. And as far as his kicking game goes you clearly haven't seen much of us this year or you are just a complete numbskull. His kicking game has been by far and away our most potent weapon all season, the 40/20's, repeat sets and turning defences around has brought us so many points in games this season.
Alex Szostak is a solid performer, and is most certainly NOT rubbish. Rather than counting the amount of good games he's had on one hand, another quite ludicrous statement, you should try and count the amount of missed tackles he's had since joining us, because you can bet you'd be able to count those on one hand no problem. He puts his hand up and gives 100% every game, not afraid to put his head in where it hurts. How you've selected him for criticism is incredibly random and far beyond me.
You've obviously got some sort of hidden agenda, the team we've got on the field now is, when fully fit, arguably the best we've had since our re-birth, so it seems incredibly strange to me that you've suddenly decided to come on here and start saying we're being shortchanged and generally slagging them off. If you are another fan on the wind up trying to unsettle our players then go and do it on another forum.
