Seriously this could be a very good game as both have given St Helen's a fright in the last week so can't be long before both sides start to win more often.

I am a bit worried about this one; Wakefield look a well-balanced side this season. Should be a good game.

After picking up our 3rd loss in 4 league games against St Helens, the Wakefield fixture is a must win game for Leeds.

We can almost write these first 4 games off to developing some coherence. Getting one win was OK in the circumstances. I’m fairly happy with where the side is at compared to worst case scenario.
Wakefield at home is a nice kick off for Headingley; can’t wait for the North Stand to be finished.

This is not true. Fridays game against St Helens was not a must win game. However after the start we’ve had we can’t afford another loss to a team like Wakefield.

Golding injured at the minute, Cuthbertson also has his wrist in a splint at the minute so won’t be surprised if he misses.

Ferres is useless, old, offers nothing in attack, an absolute liability in defence and out of contract end of the year, he'd only play in an emergency for me. Suttcliffe isnt any better but least he's got the excuse of learning a new position, young and contracted for years so id rather percevere with him over ferres and see if he could develop into an asset going forward. If wards out...Backrow of Smith, Suttcliffe and Merrin at 13 for Wakey game.

I think after this 4 game away start our next 4 games are must win

Also remember seeing a potential eye gouge in the game by Brad Dwyer so if that gets picked up he could be missing for a while so let’s hope Parcell is fit enough to play.
