Yeah I remember going to Wigan for one in 2002 and the turn out then made me realise that it's a crap idea. Also no one would go down to London in this current economic climate to watch state of origin.

You might get a few exiled Aussies living in London who'd go but the turn out from English fans would be minimal. You'd be looking at 5000 people in a 90000 capacity ground.
