I was up at the shop today (whilst I couldn't bring myself to buy either the "acid trip" or "silver banana" I bought some natty leisurewear) and took my daughter to see the pitch.

It looks a bit like a ploughed field. Has anyone else seen it lately? Is that normal with two weeks to go to the 1st game? I am clueless about the speed sports grass grows but was a bit suprised by the baldness of it. A bit like when I look in the mirror.

I've not seen a ploughed field lately. That's what comes of living in a city I guess.

Yep.

The pitch wasn't cleared as far as I know, they just left it under the snow. I would assume that is the reason it's in such a state (coupled with as the snow melts, it waterlogs)

Well lets hope its sorted for the saints game.

i also hope the pitch gets sorted asap, will be attending my first home game in 4 weeks when i come back from this hell hole and get back to normality

I'm sure if they roll you around the pitch a few times it will solve these problems!

Yeah, I was going to make a post earlier on in the week regarding the same thing. It's a mess, big patches of sand all over the place, and they have the water sprinklers on it from 9-5 every day.

Good job we have a fortnight till our 1st home game, it will rectify itself if the snow stays away.
