Do we know why O’Brien didn’t play. Was it concussion issues?

I have now seen the reason he didn’t play. Yet another with a torn calf. Why is this same injury now happening, is it just coincidence or is it a change in training. Could it be the change of strength and conditioning trainer.

On the subject of strength and conditioning, I get the feeling we had a top notch trainer last season and this year we poached the guy from Bradford Bulls. 4 or 5 players with torn calves with a trainer who names a specialism of leaping tall buildings (sorry I meant boxes) as a qualification. Plyometrics is supposed to give more explosive power. Personally I would rather see our best players on the pitch.
