going to have to be managed this season, like he was yesterday given a rest and over easter. Looked abit off his game against castleford too.

but will he ever get back to full fitness with these injuries without an op?

Which is exactly why he shouldn't be playing at hooker.

I'd happily use him as Wigan used Lockers last year.. toward the end. Bring him in important games only... Keep him rested and out of action otherwise. We might struggle a little in the season but we'll be better for it, in the play offs.

Personally I think Lunt has looked pretty ordinary recently. He looks sluggish.

Can see why the club would keep him away from hooking duties now, with those sorts of injuries.

he is a worry, didnt come back great v castleford, cas scored two tries going through robbo (webster and carney) big players mind! but normally good in defence for such a small guy.

If Salford don't want him there will be more than Castleford after his signature.
