Sad to hear about this for Rob, what a genuine guy and player for us, I wish him The Best in his retirement, he well deserves it.

I suppose its not entirely a surprise, but just wanted to send my best wishes to Rob on his retirement. I know the word 'legend' is used far too often to describe people these days but Rob truly is, always gave 100% on the pitch and carried himself with great dignity off it. And he was always happy to talk (even if you'd had too many pints at the bar celebrating a win or drowning your sorrows!) A great ambassador for RL in London! Good luck Rob!

Shame for Rob, but you have to retire sometime - as the wife (and my team mates) keep telling me - and I wasn't looking forward to potentially seeing him play for someone else in SL.
Here's to Rob, be good to send him off well.

It's fair enough, but I think he's still better than many players we'll see in SL next year. I wish him all the best, great servant to the club, in all honesty he's been a cut above most other players we've had, too good for many of the sides we've turned out in recent years.
