He did come from Parramatta, Sterlingesque blond hair, he was strong and direct but lacked any real finnesse, he did a job for Wakefield though

He deffo played at 6 a few times but the majority was centre - remember they were the days when the number represented the position so he will have been playing 6 in that game but as far as I recall he was mainly a centre - I also will stand corrected.

You're probably right, just checked a few sites and they say in his pro career he's played 2,3,6 and 7, so very versatile.

I have old VHS of Wakey v Salford with Brian Jackson putting in a man of the match performance. Not difficult to remember his Aussie club as John Helm constantly refers to him as The Aussie from Paramatta.
