Hope I haven't missed any.

That's 13 players, a team or just under 15% of players homegrown. I used to be embarrassed by how few Academy products we had in our team but now I consider myself quite happy, could still be better but it's a massive step forward from even ten years ago, especially when you consider that in 2006 we stayed up with a team that barely contained an Englishman let alone a Wakefield product.

You could also at a pinch include Hampshire and Kirmond as they are local lads.

You can add Rocky to that list i suppose

Whilst from Wakey, didn't Rocky come through the Wigan academy?

Possibly, i thought he was on our books before moving to Wigan? Could be wrong.

Rocky started off at BV on a 12 month scholarship, he then went to Hull FC on a 2 year scholarship, as that came to an end Wigan nipped in and signed him from Normanton Knights who held his registration before FC could do anything, that's assuming they wanted him anyway.

I think that Ryan Hampshire was on scholarship with Hull FC before Wigan signed him at 16.
