Whitehaven appear to have an injury problem, according to the news up there they are without some key players and some are carrying knocks that normally they would be rested for. They are not out of the relegation woods yet. Hovewever it would mean them losing and Hunslet winning and then a 58 point score line deficit to be acheived in both games for them to make the drop. Us winning by 20 and Hunslet by 38. Just a decent end of season twist to make it interesting enough. What would have been fairer on both Haven and the Hawks is that both games would have been given the same day and kickoff times IMO.

Good luck to the players playing their last game in the Dons colours and a safe and pleasent journey to the faithful.

If they play as well as they did Sun v Dewsbury they have a chance of a win.

Whoops so much for optimism 22-4 to Haven

64 mins gone and losing 40-10. I fail to see how they can be losing so heavily after the performance shown last week. Looks like another display where the players couldn't give a toss and you have to ask if that has been the case in so many games this season.

Its all been said regarding player recruitment. This may be a season to forget for some but for me its a season to remember. No more blind faith in the club and that side of it saddens me. We were sold a pup and its bloody well bitten us.

This is precisely the reason I quit watching after the Workington home game and stopped paying into the squad builder. The club is in the entertainment industry not the charity or religious one if they expect my money they need to provide entertainment. As far as I'm concerned the players have the friendlies to convince me to pay on the gate during the season.

If they entertain during that season I will opt back in to the squadbuilder.

All that being said I am quietly hopeful that things can get turned around next season and am eagerly awaiting news of new signings next week.

Curtain down, not been pretty this season has it. I fully understand why some are disillusioned and saying no more, most of you have , as has been said, been through it all before and must be feeling totally flat. I on the other hand haven't, I started watching the Dons at the start of the championship winning season, which was followed by a couple of very good seasons in the championship. This is the first downward slide I've seen first hand, so forgive me for not giving up just yet, if I had been around as long as most of you maybe I'd share your feelings, who knows. Anyway I for one am looking forward to next season. COYD.
