It would be good to have Mal's old head and experience coupled up with a younger fitter assistant coach.

It would be great news for the club if this comes off.

His experience at the highest level,and in Australia would be invaluable.

Above all it would be indication he likes what he sees behind the scenes at Cas and the progress that is been made, i doubt he would get involved in a lost cause.

Dont want to put a damper on this but he wasnt very good when with us,didnt seem to communicate well with the player of today.
Too much old school me thinks but in his day a top larker.

I would guess he would be more of an ambassador or figurehead for the club?

Could also mean as 'Director of Rugby' they appoint an inexperienced (cheap) coach...a la Andy Hay...
