yeah i know - but i didn't exactly make my post clear think i am just sooooooo excited to get back down the lane and stand back in the same spot i have stood in for years. i have been to all the friendlies but there is nothing like the first home game of the season.

Hoping for a really good game - however better start to dig the hat scarf and gloves out.

love banter - think its what sets rugby league fans aside in the sporting world, banter before the game, banter during the game and banter and a beer after the game, with a genuine interest in all things rugby and friendships built up with fans from all teams

I'm interested to see what we will get tonight.

Wet, heavy ground, a forward battle with defences on top. Toughness and who wants it most the deciding factor. Do we have it ? We will see...

Optimism around the place, team spirit good, strength in depth. The 17 that step out into the Colliseum will steer which direction we go. I'm more interested in seeing how we cope when under pressure, because we will be. There will be periods of the game when they are camped on our line. Will we show what we haven't done for some time ? Toughness and mental strength, the desire to defend the line, the willingness to flog themselves for each other. Showing toughness on our own line will inspire the crowd as much as scoring. They inspire us by showing desire, we inspire them.

We have had seasons of excuses, analysis of games that we lost and should have won. Tonight is about winning tough. Winning is what matters.

Giants win by 10+ points,possibly more if we play like we did at MM.Tbh gonna be a close game that may go down to the strength of the packs
