Castleford Tigers , a proud club steeped in history . A fantasic record of developing young players for the elite level of rugby league. The best supporters in the whole of rugby league , families with children line the terraces to cheer on their heroes. The community team is out teaching about healthy living , lifestyles, alcohol and drug awareness.

Castlford Tigers have let shenton and westerman leave the club , 2 local home grown players.

Castleford tigers are about to sign a player who has been all over the internet having his cock and balls licked by a dog !

Which statement(s) will stick in the mind of the RL public - how are ever going to get quality people at our club.
Someone is killing our club , i dont understand it.

Or is it just that the quality of people at our club dictates that we can only sign these players who nobody else will touch, and inturn we cant retain any quality players that the club develops.
Thats how it looks to me , i wish i was wrong but deep down I know its true .

if you disagree with my post , then fair enough . but i can only say how things look to me !
the direction the club is heading is hurting me as much as anyone. I take no pleasure in highlighting what i feel about the club i have supported since being a little lad- but can we just ignore it and pretend everything is fine , surely that is the worst thing we can do for the clubs future.
Its time for change and it needs to be a big change - soon

also , i have another little senario for you .
My little girl is 4. Every year for xmas she has had a home shirt with her age on !
this year she wants the name of the player too -
Would you let your little girl wear that guys name on her back.

unless your daughters a border collie, I don't particularly see a problem...Give him a break, so he made a mistake, everyone makes them. You move past them and grow from them. I'm betting you've had your fair share of "brain farts" in your time. I know I have, granted none of which were to the extremities of Monaghans but to say you don't want your daughter to have his name on her back (should he sign & play using 4) seem a little extreme in itself if you ask me.

what do you care if that's the case? He's a quality player regardless of what he's done, who cares if we wouldn't have spoken to him if it hadn't been for the dog thing? The fact of the matter is that you moan and whine that cas have "lack of ambition" or don't sign big name players and yet when a top class player looks like falling in our laps you still grumble about it...Like tb said "you'll find a cloud to any silver lining", something good looks like its going to happen for the club and yet you still can't find it in you to actually be happy about it....I couldn't care less (and I'm guessing the majority on here couldn't either) about the circumstances which have forced JM to look for work over here & if we are to sign him I guarantee you it'll be a lot more than a handful of people cheering for him!!
