This is dreadful news if true.
A local derby, intense atmosphere and someone that clearly hasn't been up to standard to ref this year. He could ruin this for the paying public. There may be 8000 plus people in attendance to watch a cracking game of rugby on Friday...what we could get is penalty, penalty, penalty, frustration from the players and hostility from the crowd.
I really cannot understand the RLs decision here. A powder keg, the RL have not only provided the match, but they have lit it too. Who will pay the consequences after 80 minutes ?!
