Was looking through team logo’s today. I have to say the Rhinos badge is pretty poor.
The old badge with the owls is a lot nicer imho…..
Some other observations is that the Bulls badge is iconic and timeless.
Wigan’s new badge looks like Costa Coffee.
Widnes is very modern and sleek…

But you csnt be called Leeds Rhinos and have an owl on your badge! That would be silly even by RL standards.

The Widnes logo is a mess. It tries to be clever and do two, possibly three things at once and ends up looking crap having done none of them well. The FedEx logo it is not.

The Wigan one is a piece of identikit rubbish copied from however many soccer clubs and is rightly largely loathed by most Wigan fans.

The Bradford one is as said a rip off.

But yes the current Leeds one is still pretty meh. And that lower case 'i' makes my eyes bleed. But it has long since been digitised and is well established.

By "the owls" one do you mean the old Leeds city crest or the Leeds RLFC logo which replaced the crest in the 90s and was itself a rip off of the Man Utd logo?
If the former it wouldn't work for myriad copyright, digitisation and practical reasons let alone the Rhinos thing. If you mean the latter well it was introduced precisely because of some of those issues which enabled it to be copyrighted - but it was in turn replaced in late '96 because... we changed our name!
