Listened to to the London Rugby League fans forum podcast and Gus Mackay stated that the club were in the hunt for 6-7 marquee players which will allow Quins to challenge next year.

Hopefully we can pull off some big name signings, would love to have Lockyer here, but we can always dream I suppose.
Anyone know which players we're in discussion with?

the list is endless, they could sign them all will probably have more playing staff than spectators

I think there's been a misunderstanding here - what they are actually looking for is 6 or 7 players to help them put up a marquee.

Easy mistake to make.

Hopefully they will pull off a few good signings and start to challenge a bit more, generate a bit more interest in London if they start winning similar to Melbourne in Aus

If they did the SL and CC double, do you think that Larndeners would give a flying f... about them.

They did this in the late 90s and it landed them nowhere. Im skeptical tbh

They might struggle attracting 'big name' players when their planning away trips to Mount Pleasant and the Big Fellas Stadium!

What about Jay Gantic and Y. Dload?
