He has very good contacts does Tony (The Mole). Knows a lot of NRL players personally and coaches.

He's hit & miss on SL stories but NRL players I would back his accuracy anyday.

I'd be happy with Blake Austin, got a bit of cockiness about him. Has a good running game. Reminds me a bit of Nat Wood.

Although given the record of Australians finding it difficult to settle in the UK I wonder if it would even be worth applying, a year of paying extortionate fees and being messed about by the Home Office's "hostile environment" and he'd be telling us he'd had enough and wanted to go back to the NRL.

He'd still be classed as Non Fed Trained so would count as one of the 7 (I think) 'Overseas players we are allowed.

Blake is certainly a 6 but are we asking too much for him to play 7 in the British game?

Just picked it up from the stories rumbling around oz I’d say. Doesn’t look like there’s any inside scoop, and it’s almost certain the big 5 clubs here have all been in contact with him.

It says long term deal,guess that means 1 season then
