Losing Harrison so early and then Gene so early in the 2nd half (given how he brings relief to the forwards) didn't help, but the writing was on the wall long before Gene left the field.



KR were 100x faster than us in the ruck and the amount of meters they made/we didn't make was shocking. Add to that our goal line defense being poor and our typically sleep inducing attack (as validated by Sandow, who I swear was asleep in one of the BBC shots).

Cant argue with that,they turned up with more enthusisasm and fully deserve their place in the final,we never dealt with Kelly properly.

poor display all over..... we only have 2 forwards in Hill and Simms.... the rest are either kids or they're not good enough.



We have signed 3 backs for next season... lets hope we are also signing 3 forwards.. because we need them.

I am still relatively relieved about Wire. One month ago we really were looking down the barrel of bottom four and playing crap ... so don't take this too badly and stop moaning. I'd rather be in Top 8 than at Wembley ... and I bet HKR would.

Thought Simms struggled today. In his first spell, 2 forward passes, a knock on and have away 2 penalties. He does a lot of trash talking and fist pumping but Hill carries him.

A trip to Wembley or an 8th place entry into the Super 8s with no chance of making OT........I reckon they would take the Wembley final over 8th place

It was shocking how easily Hull KR kept making 50 metres from within their own ten, it wasn't like they were playing great rugby. Just absolutely no line speed/effort on our behalf. Players just didn't want it enough, and they don't have the quality to half ass it for 60 mins.
