A lot of people have suggested the RRL has gone backwards, the League has less teams in it these days and only one side can even remotley get close to Loko, Vereya Bears and LMR beat them 64-12 last year.
They will never improve when they only play one game per year against quality opposition.

On the plus side they now have a "forces" league which i belive kicks off this year

This game is also taking place slightly before the RRL season kicks off, so they are, and have been in previous years, hampered by entering the comp at this stage.

IMO the game they play against Wakefeild district ARL will be a better game competition-wise.

There was only 1 part of the article I didn't understand and it was ..........

The international friendly will be an early run out the reigning intertown champions in the preparation to retain the title in a bumber summer competiton. What the flip is one of those ???
