Well I dont know what you teach your kids if you have any. But mine are taught not to use the word "gay" in a derogatory way. Which that post does.

It really doesn't bother me,I probably find a lot of things inoffensive that most lily livered do-gooders complain about.The Watcher is a very easy going type & wishes more were like him.

Thats fantastic, like you I find many things inoffensive........but then again I'm not gay and don't have to suffer the comments that others do.

I may be completely wrong, but I'd guess you're a hetrosexual white male in the 30's / 40's bracket!
