Two people using the same IP isn't proof of anything, some IP's have dozens of members using them. For example, the IP address being used by the person (mconnor) who started the Jagger thread was being used by 23 people. Interestingly, 'mconnor' was a brand new account and only set up the day before he started the thread. There's no way that person could have known the IP's matched unless they were told so by a mod, or maybe 'mconnor' was actually a mod (there is a mod on the list of matching IPs).

For the record, moderators like me and DJ only have access to our own board and we don't have access to email addresses. I don't know why other mods are convinced that CC is Mr Jagger because the only thing linking them (as far as the information we have), is the IP address.

Maybe others know more than I do but I need more than that to convince me it's the same person.

Charlie (Ian) is a good friend of mine and when I asked him about it, he told me is definitely not Mr Jagger. He has told me 'lots of stuff' in his time, and if he was using that user name, he WOULD have told me, believe you me.

The proof is in the ip.Yes if you have multiple devices connecting from the same location ie: mums connected to rlfans on her phone and dads connected on his laptop using the same lan.Then you'll have two users using the same ip.

What you won't have is 23 people from one location,thats the ip that needs banning on the server.

Someone must have access to each users MAC address. It still can be manipulated but I would think 99% of people on here wouldnt even know where to begin.

FWIW I do not think CC is Jagger and I have told a couple of people who I think it is. I doubt Jagger has been banned and think the only reasons the person has stopped posting is because they have a conscience and saw the stick that Charlie was getting.

Edit: I wonder who the mod is on the address.

Mo I have had 4 user names on this board. They are Frankb Salfordleyther Salfordlad and my current name. Had 2 change them cos of password problems. I would never post using 2 different names cos I would not know how too.

An apology is not necessary you can get me a pint instead.

1stly ,if mr Jagger has now decided to no longer post, as he apparently isnt banned, then good riddance, who ever he was

2nd ,Paul is no longer an employee of the club, so he, or what he says is no longer of any consequence , an irrelivance

We move on and support those still at the club, as we have done in the past and will do in the future
