Went in to our club shop on friday to get a ticket in advance for our game at yours and was asked if I was going down on my own or in a party.
When I asked why I was told that it was allocated seating.
I was then shown a plan of where the seats were. At the side right next to the corner flag.
Surely buying tickets in advance would give you supposedly tickets on the halfway line?
Instead people who pay on the day have a chance of getting better seats than someone who bought in advance?
How's that work then?
And why the need for allocated seating? surely none of the stands are going to be sold out?

Good point and well made. It now appears there's growing evidence that away fans as well as home fans are becoming somewhat p***** at the arrangement.

You could try and phone or book on line direct with quins, you may find a better choice of seating at the away fans end of the east stand, although they'll charge you £3 for paying with a debit/credit card.

Just post your thoughts ffs, it would be interesting to discuss them I imagine. Scared of somebody at the club reading your nasty posts?

never taken a backward step in my life and only ever scared of three people...my late wife, my mother and my future wife....in no particular order 8)
I feel it only fair to give the new GM time to get a grip on the square peg/round hole problem that is RL in the south east before I start banging on about what I would do...blah blah blah
Believe me, I will be back up to full speed if he doesn't get a result soon, but it's only fair to give him a chance.

On a related note I am a little disappointed that the cup match is allocated seating and we are forced into our season ticket seats. Fair enough, give us the option but i'd rather sit elsewhere with a few mates that I was going to bring a long.

A group of mates, possibly a dozen or so, some of whom have been to occasional RL games in the past, are interested in going to a Quins game on mass for an afternoon/evening out, but it seems there's little chance of getting half-decent seats together under the current arrangement. I understand the need to minimise stewarding costs etc. but it seems a bit of a farce having just one stand packed almost to capacity and the other three empty, and I'm sure it will deter some casual spectators over the course of the season.

Just post something if you have something interesting to post. If people are going to take offence than its their problem.

I have also e-mailed the club with regards to this.

From the vibes I was getting from the Huddersfield fans, it sounded like very few of them were going to be bothering.

Oddly enoughthe ones I spoke to were mostly planning on coming down.

OK....tell you what. You get your mates to email me (or you can) and I will bolt them on for £25 tickets for £15.
Can't say fairer than that.
Sick to fkn death of this east stand b0ll0x......the club is a business and needs to be treated as such......open the whole friggin place and we will be gone in 3 years. Then you can go here

Odd. Some interesting excuses were offered to me, its clearly awkward for them when trying to explain why they aren't bothering and they assume i've just travelled 200 miles
