If fit he'll be a major threat with his pace plus it always looked like he could pick a pass from his NSW cup highlights. Not sure I feel great about him being our last line of defence though.

Good to see the two young lads Sutton and Nicholson head out on season long loans at Newcastle. Fingers crossed they become regulars and if so it’ll be an invaluable experience for them.

An excellent opportunity for both lads.
If they can become regulars then a lot more potential game time than reserve grade could offer.

Centre I believe. I can’t recall seeing much of him, in fact it’s been tough to see much of any of the young lads these past couple of seasons with all the Covid disruption. The bits I’ve seen of Nicholson has been extremely impressive, so it’ll be good to see both step up.

That's a blow as it will impact his preparations during preseason massively.

Strong rumours Marty Tapau is being offered to SL clubs, possibly with Manly picking up some of his wages for the 2022 season.

With the news regarding the sad passing of Bevan French's mother that situation may now reach a head with Bevan probably having to make some important decisions along with his family regarding his future once the dust settles and at the appropriate time.

We do seem to have a squad that is slightly out of balance with backs compared to forwards.

I for one hope that French does return however if once he has had time to morn and put things in order he decides he wishes to remain in Australia, and who could blame him if he does, then Tapau would be a great addition to the squad.
