If I were in charge I'd re-open season pass discounts until Feb 4th. We can't afford this squad on the passes we have and this is a rare one-off opportunity to capitalise on some pre season feelgood/momentum Some would be annoyed but from a big picture perspective I'd go balls out in the next fortnight to push this.

That's a great idea I hope someone at the Club is thinking along those lines. We could make it more attractive by getting Big Frank to deliver the pass personally!

But if we continue to play like that people will turn up week after week anyway. Whether they have a pass or not.



What is better? Another couple of thousand pass holders or another couple of thousand paying full price every time?



Not saying it's a bad idea but for me if the team keep playing like that then the crowds will follow.

No brainer for me. Pass holders have a commitment for the season and you get the lump sum upfront. You rely on non passholders to make 10 (or whatever the cash equivalent is) separate transactions to get the same cash in the future with the unsatisfactory ticketing arrangements we have in place. At a guess passholders have a greater propensity to buy merchandise over a season too with shirt discounts etc.

Understand what you are saying BUT if the team continue to play like that then non passholders will continue to attend week after week. I know I will.



And don't necessarily agree about the merchandise bit. They have so many sales these days non passholders will still spend plenty in the shop. In fact I very rarely see someone getting discount in the shop with their pass.

Maybe season pass related?

Yeah i know and i hate the current situation with the SMC and tickets.



It would have put me off in the past.



But if the team continue to play like that i would find a way to buy a ticket a few days before a game.



Maybe it's just me but for this season i am taking the wait and see option rather than commit up front.
