We've heard all this talk about players wanting out, un happy blah blah!

And ok we've lost last 2.. But only last night did we look like a poor side! Yet Fax just keep dropping points and whereas we saying 'players aint good enough' there focussing more on lack of effort and bad attitude?

Maybe things could be the other way around and trouble @ Le Shay?

Players got new contracts yet others being offered much reduced terms to cover them?

dont know what it is but it needs to be sorted.

for me, govin has played really well in the last 2 games. by the sounds of it the mistake we made last night was taking gleeson off instead of penky.

penky has had a bad couple of games.

black just never seems to have recovered from that knock on against you guys.

beswick hasnt had the best couple of weeks either.

something needs sorting or we could end up with a nice away tie at the stobart stadium or craven park and then its game over.

TBH Prob just everyone peaking and suffering drop in form at the same time... which is never good!

You get 3 points for a win whether by 2pts or 50pts! So when on fire didn't get any more than if people peaked at different times and won games closer! Same happened with us in 2007!

totally agree.

i mean it was good to watch at the start of the season now we are going through something some say its a dip some on the halifax forum may say its something more behind the scenes.

the problem is though we have some of the players that are playing good and some for example penky who hasnt been able to catch a ball in the last couple of weeks.

people like govin last night and against whitehaven changed the game, he came on against whitehaven and we score 30 points in 20 mins.

i think last night i think the defeat was down to a substitute he made he took gleeson off instead of penky and we went back to playing bad.

i just really hope we can get back on form before the play offs. or we may have an away tie at you and get smashed by 50 points if we keep playing like this.

although the form teams at the minute are barrow and sheffield and whitehaven, whereas halifax have lost 4 in a row and widnes have lost 2 in a row.

Have always rated Govin highly! (He back playing 9 yea?). Liked him @ Leigh and even though was injured would of liked us to have jumped in ahead of your boys!

dont know where he played last night cause i didnt go but he is a game breaker when he is fit he has had lots of problems with injury.

we have looked a very good team when he has come on the pitch in the last couple of weeks.

the problem is this late in the season can we drop penky without his confidence being knockd even more and then being even worse in the play offs.

maybe we just have to stick out with his poor form and hope he comes good again cause we all know penky is quality.

maybe for batley next week though we should give penky another chance but we also need to accomodate govin in the side.

Big game next week against Shaven Haven if we have a convincing win then we may have a chance of the grand final.

Fingers, legs and toes crossed if we get to the GF and after a good few years win one
