Have to say that Penny was awesome, I take back all my reservations if he can keep that up. Infectious enthusiasm and pace to burn. Scored a fine try from a deep kick up field and literally flew on it right in at the corner. Didn't see much of Pickersgill tbh, the whole game was a bit surreal.

I went for a pint on half an hour to come back and see Penny making a 70 yard break having missed 2 tries.

Excellent fighting spirit shown by all the players this evening. We looked a different side when Duffy came on for Smith and the rotation seems to spark us.

Still a long way to go but full credit to them for turning it around with such style. We really start to show what we're capable of when we're firing. Up and up from here on in will do me.

then well done to you sir..... I take back Calling the National Leagues a dead end tin pot league and Widnes a filthy rotten hell hole........(well except for that rough bit in hough green).

I may not be a clairvoyant but I did know you'd enjoy watching Penny.....
