Why is it so desperately important for you that we all conform to your opinion and why does it stop you posting here because we don’t?

For the life of me I will never ever understand why this gets your back up so much.

I've seen widnes bashing threads on both the fax and the leigh board, it hasn't caused me to take some sort of stand against them to never post there as a result. This argument is considerably mild compared to some of the arguments in the past.

According to other fans, widnes are some messianic chosen ones who have been playing the system and have no intention of competing in this league. Despite our coaching problems last year and the injury list, we've had no justification for not winning the league every season. It doesn't stop me chatting to any leigh or fax fans. Hell, Barrow seem to be the most bitter of all about this but I don't blame them all for the few posters who make an awful lot of noise.

The figures are now out there for widnes. Look at them all you wish. Whether we made one million profit or not it matters little. We've got a stable club others can't wait to poke holes in because they're jealous. What your motivation is, I do not know. But get over it and come back.

Where was he last year and how did he do? Just seen he was at Bradford but didn't play last year. Allways liked watching Danny. Reminded me of Deryk Pike who played for us a bit ago. Good luck to the lad but it takes a lt to motivate a player who has played at top level to train and compete in our league.

yeah... sometimes playing to try and save your career and for a possible SL contract just isn't enough.

If Danny was SL quality he would have played more for Bradford would he not. Danny is doing a Steve O and Baz Mac. Remind me how long did they last?

yes he would, and he is superleague quality. actually he would have played more if he hadnt suffered a career threatening injury which kept him out of action for pretty much all of last season.
so its a bit unfair to judge him on appearences for bradford (or lack thereof) when he couldnt physically play anyway.

I read somewhere that he had some sort of blood infection which kept him out of action. Its also led to him losing about 2 stone in body weight. I hope he is the same player when he is back fit (not against fax though).
