Great game all round, predictions a bit wrong.
Kavanagh stepped twice by Big Frank but he should be OK in SL as they all run straight.

Thankyou John but i think Widnes played dumb rugby after been 12 points up.James Coyle should never wear a Widnes jersey and Gore,Craven, and Jack Owens are youngsters who are much better than him.Lost the game with i think 15 penalties,no kicking game, no composure or a leader.Disappointed signed Allen for Superleague he is crap. But goodluck in the Championship mate.

Two games in succession for us, one we could/should have won (Batley), and one that the other team could/should have won (tonight). Wasn't there, but same for you against Leigh.

Sport's fantastic, which is why franchising is such a pile of pants.

Genuinely the best of luck in SL. Hopefully we will both be in the mix 2015+

Just watched the match , so Fax go to Widnes in the pay offs , there's a surprise

Decent enough game , just not enough there to see it

Things are flat in Halifax as we have had the stuffing knocked out of us with the RFL and now our own Board telling us what to do!
I could not get any enthusiasm at all until that last 5 minutes!!!

We nicked it but give our lads credit we came back when I thought you had us, yer some dumb stuff from Widnes probably cost you.

Good luck in SL, like Hull KR before you the Championship needs a succesful team after getting up from our league to prove that heartland clubs do deserve a place at the table of the big boys.
Maybe see you in 4 years but maybe not with the mafia that is the RFL. Don't forget us low life will you?

Disgusted by that Widnes performance to be honest. I don't see a lot of them compared to most of you, but I'm really unconvinced by Joe Mellor. Thomas Coyle has been woeful in the past two games also.

I was expecting more from Mellor when Leigh played you. Heard a lot about him and have been repeatedly told how great he is/will be but he just kept trying to break through on his own and seemed reluctant to pass. Had no real impact on the game and had little impact again tonight. I think the claim of 'the next sam tomkins' (from a w*gan fan, not a widnes fan) may have been a little optimistic

Kevin Penny is shit. Anonymous all game, again, until the last minute when he has a good chance to win the game or at least go close and he bottles it. You're a fookin' winger lad, use your line and run. He had all the space down the line and on the inside to run at White and yet he chips the ball back to him to finish the game. The sooner he disappears the better. Useless.

He wasn't alone tonight though, it was harder to pick anyone who did go well. Paddy Flynn and Hulme went well and Tyrer played well. Scored a couple of cracking tries, especially the Mellor one just before half time.
