Little Pepe went to nursery school one day wearing his Widnes hat. His teacher asked him why he was a Widnes fan. He said, “Because my parents are.” His teacher said, “That’s not good. What would you do if your parents were drug dealers and hookers?” He replied, “Well then I would be a Warrington fan.”

There were some baffling decisions given by the ref and V-ref last night. We were beaten by the better side on the night though, so I can't argue with the result.

We just had too many injuries to compete with Barra, despite some good, solid performances from some of our youngsters. Flynn, and Houghton did well and Ostick played well until he went off with that head injury. He wasn't the same player when he came back on.

Our forwards were out-muscled and this made it difficult for our halfbacks to operate successfully. Dodd was our MOM imo.

This game was all about Jamie Rooney. The lad was pure class last night.

I would still swap being top of the table for a win in the NRC final if I am to be honest.

So you'd just be happy with just finishing top this and next season?

Re read my post sssllllooooowwwwwwlllllyyyyy

What I put roughly translates into :-

I WOULD RATHER HAVE WON THE NRC FINAL AND HAVE THE SILVERWEAR IN THE CABINET THAN BE SAT ON TOP OF THE TABLE.

However should we win the Championship Grand Final then that would make up for it.

Please now stop dont be daft how the hell can you say that was a 50/50 ?????????? :STUPID: :STUPID:

Knock on first , then it should have been play on advantage Widnes and it was not advantage us and Barrow scored ???

Even if Gaskell would not there you saying it would have stood as a try ??
How the fooooking hell do you work that one out ??

One of the strangest things I`ve seen since starting watching the Ruggers way back early 80`s

Are you being serious ?

The only try I struggled to understand was Ballards. I am unsure on the ruling for using your chest but why isn't it deemed a knock on when a player uses his chest to control the ball from a Kick Off ? I honestly think Hewer didn't know what to rule as there isn't a ruling that states you cannot use your chest to control the ball - Ballard was onside when the ball hit the players chest so rightly chased it and plonked it down. That is the only explanantion I can come up with for why it was given :?

I also thought he played well and it seems everyone that comes near him gets smashed
some of the tackles he put on last night where furious, especially the try saver in the first half

Grady and Kavanagh played well of the bench i thought which is a positive sign seen as we will probably be playing more young'ens next season

Shocking decisions to allow Ballards try and im still in shock today
We where very lucky not to concede more in the first half though because eveytime they attacked down our right with Catic and Harrison they looked they they where going to score everytime and got a few lucky moments espically when they had numerous overlaps

It did read the other way around to me

Listen we in playoffs for sure, can see Toulouse getting 90 on Leigh but not quite 150  so if Fletch / Morro / Kohe not 100% rest them! We gonna hve to do playoffs the hard way regardless!
