I wouldn't want to go as far as saying that the referee cost us the game but I would want to know why the penalty was not awarded for the tackle on Flynn.. considering he was in the clear had he not been pulled back a good collect would have clearly led to a try and there is an argument that the Fev player could have walked for a professional foul. As Fev were handed the ball back on the 15yard line and scored under the post from the next tackle I think it was a big call to miss. I'd be interested to know what other people's thoughts were on this.

The referee could not claim that he did not see it. He was perfectly sighted too.

I hate moaning at ref's but this one was poor! We didn't even get a 60 - 40 never mind 50 -50 ater we went 12 - 0 up!

To show unbias... Briggs was a try he bounced and not double movement... BUT!

Thacks knocked on 5 out we headed to scrun and Ref gave 20 re start...why? We got caught out but Thacks nowhere near line so how 20 restart?

Pen they got against Doody from kick??? They kicked through Doddy was happy to leave it... Kain jumped for it (as you would) missed next min Doddy acused o pushing him out the way (No appeal mind)????

Thacks kicked through... literally tackled out the way and play on? Sorry but wtf?

Fev controlled last 10 and first hal of 2nd hal but tbh they where aided and tbh am I agreived? Damn fliiping right I am!

Being sat with all the Fev fans its easy to see he was rubbish for both of us. The ammount of crap we got let off with was huge too, they were just better. Great support apart from some idiot who couldnt handle his beer and that horrible old witch who shouted and shouted, and if you shouted anything in support of widnes she argued with you.

But yeah overall, good game, Fev better.

Not really. Fax had three tries gifted to them in the second half to get them back into the game, yet you all seem to miss this and continue to persist that the ref cheated you!

Good game, unlucky with the result though, why the hell was Grayshone so crap tonight after the good performance the week before? Thought the ref was shocking with the unruly errors.

At least we now have time to get the best team together that we can for next season, and show the RFL what we can do!

The ref was rubbish but Widnes were all over the show after 20 mins and 12-0 up we took Fev for granted.

Very impressed with Fev they were the better team and good luck to them

Not sure about this new ruling that Super League standard ref Ben Thaler was showing by letting them move in 5 yards before we played the ball

Surely if the ref is giving a pen here to featherstone, then it should have been a penalty try, it was a shocking decision they were both running in same direction and collided, it was as much a penalty to widnes, as it was to fev and completely changed the course of the match.

I am. yet ou all seem to miss the persistant high tackling he let you get away with and the lying on. I dont think Laughton cheated. But its seems worse when your team loses.

But thats in the past now. Enjoy the off season.

We did no more lying on than Fax did. You were getting away with all kinds in that game, forward passes, off -sides and Penky's constant crossing.

Laughton definitely tried to cheat Widnes out of that game. We were the best team on that day, and would've finished a good three trys ahead of you - and deservedly so.

That defeat had f**k all to do with the ref. You lot were just too f******g arrogant to see it.

You all believed that 'Country mile' bulls**t spouted by that gobs**te of a coach you have.
