I am in Lorett de Mar until tuesday and what I saw yesterday isn´t worth thinking about. We took around 300 fans and it was proably worse than the Huddersfield and hull performances. There tries were so simple, it was really like a training session for them. Its all well and good giving an apology on twitter after a hiding but we cant accept it week after week. 58 points agianst Hull, 66 against Hudds 76!!! against Catalans, it really isnt good enough. Most of these players are tied in on 2 and 3 year contracts. We need a coach who is going to organise them and get the best out of them. Our goal line defence is none existant, liturally, when theyre on our line, they will score.

Ive had a really good week in Lorett but I 300 Widnes fans were let down by the club yesterday. I have never said this before but I think they should be ashamed, not just Betts, but these professional players we have.

The championship side weve had probably wouldn´t have been beaten by 76 as incredible as it sounds.

Sort it out Widnes and give the fans an excuse to come to the games and not an excuse as to why to stay away.

You are going through exactly what we at Leigh went through in our one and only venture into SL. Only thing is you have the comfort of none relegation. It will take this season to get really bedded in so don't get too dispondent. Have to say though you have been shopping for players at Asda and not Waitrose. Once you have the full SL payments then you and Mr Oconnor can go out and buy some class. That will be next season so look forward to that. Just be patient.

No new coach will come here with Cullen still here breathing over his shoulder. Simple fact untill Betts and Cullen go we will not advance as a club in super league.

Does my head in this it really does. What did you expect? I got hooked on RL in the Eighties, long time ago now. Wigan were undefeatable, Widnes were arguably a better side than us. I enjoyed the Boyd v Kurt battles and it got me hooked on the game.But time waits for no man, those days are over.

The only way this will not become two or three is if the town get behind the club and start turning up in numbers. You are giving away tickets left right and centre, yet you are still only getting 5,000 people at a home game. You cannot win anything if you don’t have a paying 10,000+ home attendance, look it up if you don’t believe me. You complain about getting tonked in France, but with only 300 fans travelling you obviously don’t respect your franchise. There does seem to be a two tier system at the moment, the well supported clubs, and those that aren’t.

You can’t blame Betts if the players are poor, he can only work with what he’s got. And until you start turning up in numbers to watch your team, things aren’t going to improve, sorry but that’s the cold hard truth. If I were from Widnes and stumbled across this forum there is no way in a million years I would go to a game. The negativity is astounding, almost as bad as when we played at Widerspool. Go into work tomorrow and tell everyone how crap your team are, then come back on here and complain that you don’t win enough games. Or get behind them, as a work in progress, and spread the word, Widnes are back in SL and with a bit of support may do something.

Disagree 1905 as fans go to see competitveness win or lose.Warringtons attendances be worse if was getting smashed every week.We need to Sack Betts now.
