The whole policy needs a review. Any asthma user, coming back from a lay off to full tilt training/matches will require and increasing amount of salbutamol PRN. That's physiology! How the bloody body works. What's he supposed to do, give up the sport? Or carry on until he can no long function then get carted off to hospital where they will give him - SALBUTAMOL?????????????????????

The evil, cheating Mr Gaskell should have stuck to what the guidelines stated, and not what he felt he actually needed.

He probably would have had a severe attack, and possibly even died, but he would have set a wonderful example to us all. Instead he decided that life was more important than sticking to some bureaucratic tw*ts ridiculous f*****g diktat.

As an Asthma sufferer i can state that it does give you a bit of help when doing any kind of athletic activity but not enough to give you that much of an advantage.

The people who decided on this punishment should be ashamed of themselves.
