RL pubs in Sheffield : Wed Feb 23, 2011 11:06 pm  

Hi all,

Was just wondering if anyone knows of any decent pubs in the city centre/broomhill/crookes area of town that usually show RL? Even the Students' Union (Uni of Sheffield, not sure about Hallam) don't show it, despite having a rugby league team!

Hey,

Guessing your from St Helens like myself! I'm watching the game on Friday in champs on Eccy Road, just sent them a quick email asking if they will put it on one of the big screens and said that's fine.
Also The Ball on crookes road will show RL on their big screen if you ask nicely and no wendyball is on.

Actually I'm from near Birmingham, with the parents hailing from St. Helens and Finland respectively! Cheers for the info, might give champs a go on Friday then. I'm also told walkabout sometimes put the RL on, worth a shout perhaps...

Walkabout has loads of tellys in different areas so will definitely have it on somewhere in there
