Oh please can this be true. Nevermind what players other teams have signed, this will be the best signing possible for any of Barrows title rivals. Also just the sort of man Des needs so he can continue picking and coaching the team, a weak yes man.

Think this is abit harsh Steve did wonders with Whitehaven then won the Nothern rail cup and got to the Grand Final with Widnes then helping them overcome a points deduction to get a playoff place befor being sacked in my opinion premetuly but then look what he did at Gateshead keeping them up when they had looked finished beating us, Widnes and Barrow on the way. Could well be a very good apointment by Barrow. |

WHilst I don't agree he left Widnes prematurely, he is still a good coach McCormack and as mentioned did well with Gateshead this year, beating both Widnes and Fax in the run in.
I think if he went to Barrow they'd still be a force next year, in 2007 McCormack had us playing as well as we'd played for a few years, he just struggled to get us across the finishing line. |
