Is it time to drop the Monday fixture at Easter instead of expecting teams to play 3 games within 9 days. If I had a choice I would gladly see the end of the Magic Weekend to accommodate the Monday fixture.

Nope. I love the Easter weekend. It's a feast of rugby league and it is a good test for coaches and teams.



I'd happily drop the magic weekend though but for a second weekend international rather than to accommodate the Easter programme.

Starting to think It would be good to drop the Easter Monday fixture. The drop off In quality Is huge,pretty poor fare tbh.

i love the extra rugby BUT the talent does drop, not just the monday game but the following friday is always a 'funny' tie.



but its comes down to what the players do in training, i heard a cas player saying they did next to nothing last week, they wont do much this week and the following week will be light, so wont help teams with skills and drills.



so not as match ready trying to keep players fit



just spread the matchs over the weekend and still let sky put most on tv....get rid of the magic weekend and this will keep the contract with the rfl and b sky b the same

After paying good money to watch a game clearly affected by players having played 3 days earlier i would say drop the monday match.

The same happens every year,2 matches in 4 days results in a drop in performance,thus resulting in the paying public being shortchanged.
