The score won't be too bad. Saints won't be anticipating too much of a game and I'm pretty sure Potter will use it as an opportunity to rest one or two.

Both paying over the odds for the players?



Really don't know, but the current crowds, and decreasing, aint gonna be able to pay top dollar.

After watching saints yesterday and Bradford on friday they better get a new score board because Saints are the best side i have seen for years.

No long term planning?



Over-relaince on signed talent and not enough youth?



Perhaps the end of a golden era?



Perhaps Elliot and Smith were significantly ahead of Noble and McNamara in terms of coaching ability?

What about the easter monday fixture a few years back when saints got beat heavily and fielded an under strengh side.

Has there been a worse signing in the history of rugby league than Iestyn Harris to the Bulls?



Tt ruined their reputation and finances off the pitch, caused a salary cap breach and used a massive chunk of salary cap space meaning they couldnt retain players.



It was also a baffling signing in terms of on field development of the team...who wants an overweight, unfit rugby union stand off, when at the same time they refused to select Leon Pryce in that same position. They also lost Peacock who left because he was told there was no spare cash for him before they signed Harris.



The costs they had to pay Leeds will have had an effect on investment in youth player development and squad training - along with marketing and promotion.



Had they not signing Harris they could (probably) have retained Pryce, Peacock and Fielden. They would also have been in a better position to recruit better players from outside the club.

I agree it has to be the worst signing in rugby league history. Absolutely decimated the Bradford club

Not turned out as well as they thought but he hasnt bankrupted warrington. Harris' signing has brought an end to the golden age at bradford. They have nothing to fall back on, they dont even own their ground

granted, he has been awful - but when he goes Warrington will have something to fall back on. Signing Harris has completely destroyed the Bradford club.

Warringtons recruiment policy has been pathetic throughout the SL era so just using Matt King as an example is unfair. I could name you a whole page of flops signed by the Dire club.
