| well i think there shoe ins for the top 4 myself !
BTW we didnt have one for the giants because i think most of our fans, although were enjoying our season so far, know we still have a long way to go - after the last 2 weeks i think its safe to say justifiably too

| There chances are no more than 50-50, at best.
You cannot judge their chances on the basis of their win today.
Any honest fans will recognise that Les Catalans were badly understrength today. They were missing their star playmakers and several international forwards. In particular the injured players (3 Australian, 3 French) were:
Greg Bird
Thomas Bosc
Adam Mogg
Jason Ryles
Cyrille Gossard
Sebastien Raguin
Had the positions been reversed, and Hull KR were without Dobson, Cooke, Vella, and three other regulars, while Les Catalans were full strength, no doubt that the scoreline would have been reversed.

I'll match that with the following missing regulars :
Ben Cockayne
Chev Walker
Stanley Gene
Nick Fozzard
Rys lovegrove

You cannot match it. Not one of those is a playmaker or a goal kicker.
Only Gene is at the playing standard of a Gossard or a Raguin.
None of them, including the two convicted felons, is in the playing class of Bird, Bosc, Mogg or Ryles.

What's missing a goal kicker got to do with it? If you had a better one today the score could have been 44-12?

Playmaker is crucial to any team!!
Quins had Danny Orr on for the first half, and Hull KR were behind 12-8
He never came back for the second half and the Quins collapsed.
It is a pretty basic observation that no rugby league team can win without its playmakers.

Rather arrogant and ignorant statement there.

Why should I keeep quiet if the judge has already spoken publically?
Of course, not comparing with the awful Leon Pryce.

| Quote roversmad="roversmad"Wheras Danny Orr never played at Leeds'"
I think the sudden loss at half time of Orr (to be replaced by the inexperienced Luke Gale, who immediately made a crucial mistake to concede a try that put the visitors in front for the first time) was a big factor in Cooke and Dobson (a class double act) being able to exert their dominance in the second half at The Stoop last week.
This week Quins were able to prepare properly without Orr and went with the experience of Rob Purdham at stand off (with Luke Dorn switching to scrum half) and this experienced pair both showed up well and along with Chad Randall controlled the game, backed up by a far more disciplined and determined display from everyone else.
Anyway, back on topic, I think HKR and Huddersfield are the best two sides I've seen so far (the only Quins games I've missed were the big wins at Salford and Bridgend, and we've yet to play Saints, Bradford or Wakey) my own team will probably be too inconsistent as usual, and I'm not convinced Wigan, Bradford or Hull will win games consistently enough to make the top four. So there's a good chance the current top four will be the final top four, with Wire possibly coming into the equasion if their improvement under Tony Smith continues to gather momentum.

As soon as Hull FC's missing stars Shaun Berrigan and Tom Briscoe return, rest assured that Hull FC's performances will improve 100%. I believe that with those two in the team Hull FC can defeat Hull KR easily.

Were these the same Berrigan and Briscoe who appeared forthem in their Good Friday defeat at the KC by HKR ?

[size=109Yes, the very same two.
But if you remember the game at all, Tom Briscoe had to be taken off with a very nasty ankle injury on 46 minutes, after he had stopped a try. Briscoe was replaced by Berrigan, who then instead of alternating wih Lee at hooker (his most potent position), had to play the whole match in the backline while Tommy Lee was at hooker, because Briscoe was unexpectedly out of the game.
Here is another example of how Hull KR overpowers their opponents because their opponents suffer injuries to key players.
Perhaps a few relevant contextual facts could be placed in your posts occasionally.[/size
