When I opened my spanking brand new Leeds Rhinos 2012 home shirt this cold Christmas morning, I noticed that the Name and Number printing was in a different font than to the last 4 or so seasons. Is this a new font or something completely different?

Yes there's probably a new font.
Unless people are thinking of typing a name and number on microsoft word, printing it out and then gluing it onto the back of their shirts, I actually don't see why anyone would want to know or care.

In fairness it is worth seeing when they've changed the font as some of the brand-specific fonts are a nightmare to read, even for the numbers.
