How boring was that.

Was it just me or was the production value really poor? There was quite a number of times were the audio and video didn't seem in sync to me.

No, it wasn't just you. I could hardly hear Eddie Hemmings sometimes on my brand new big screen TV. Mind you, that's possibly a blessing! But it was simply a bunch of tries stuck together, which is exactly what it was last year too. That made it a little boring. It would have been nice to have had a proper review, with a couple of pundits in a studio pointing out the interesting bits of the season. Two hours is a good slot, Sky could have made so much more of it than they did. They chose the cheapest possible option and then produced it badly, which is a shame.

It was a season review, not a season analysis. Told the story if the season as it happened. They could have picked some better clips, but everyone has different opinions on what is "better" so no-one would ever be happy with that.

Did Wigan score a try at any point in the season where the ball was actually passed backwards ? When you see a review of the season it makes you realise just how many dodgy calls they got away with throughout the year. When the refs got a bit tougher late in the season they seemed to suffer more than most. Probably why they bombed out when they had to play by the same rules as everyone else.

Ignoring the bizarre and bitter singling out of Wigan in his rant it was clear from watching the review how forward passes are now being let go more and more, there were at least six tries shown last night where one of the commentators called it forward straight away, and more that looked forward on the footage shown. It's definitely becoming an issue across Superleague in my opinion.

How many tries on average are scored during a season? Would there be a market to slam every try on DVD and release that?

I agree that it would've been better if there was more discussion but sadly there is only Carney that talks sense, or isn't a complete bore.

I thought it was poor it seemed to be all over the place.



Plus in both the Tries of the season programme and this season review Warrington have hardly featured. Considering we scored 189 tries and topped the league it has been shocking.



I think Hull FC got shown more than us.

Oh c'mon. Wire were shown far more than Saints!





It was just poor overall. Let's hope for a better effort at the end of 2012.

After seeing Leeds' try against Saints at Headingley in the corner between the South and new stand,i really don't think you have any cause to complain.

There was an epidemic of forward passes last season, from those teams who have trained to push the flat pass rule - it needs sorting.

He's got us there, that was one of the worse. If anything the show just highlighted how inept the officiating in our sport is

I got the season review DVD and its quite good, although a bit of a Wigan-Wire love fest. From the two home league game against wigan I think it shows most of the Wigan tries, and none of the Leeds tries for example.



Not that this matters, my 3-year old has watched it hundreds of times, running and rolling around the lounge with his mini-Rhinos ball, and yelling 'mooove' every time he gets up.
