I half felt sorry for Wire in the end, but then I remembered all those sad middle-aged barstewards in their belly-tight club shirts giving us grief from the bridges on our way home from the Catalan semi, and I thought: Nah. What goes around comes around.

I bet Smith (The Special one) will give a team talk pre match if they reach the Grand Final. Arrogant Ausie.

No Double for Wire this year

What a fantastic game compared to yesterday! Cant wait for the final, hull are a sleeping giant IMO. It will be tough.

It could be tougher then Wire in a way. There would always be the chance Wire could get a bit complacent at Wembley after all their success at the ground but that certainly won't be the case with Hull.



A score in it either way IMO.

I reckon a Wigan v Hull final will be superb. Plus, there'll be no problem with brain-dead morons outside Wembley looking for aggro. The only time I've ever seen fighting on the Wembley way was when we played Warrington in 1990.

It's weird isn't it mate, I'd had a feeling for a Wigan vs Hull final since the first round. Tbh though when they drew Wire in the semi I didn't see it happening.



I certainly won't tire of the replays of 85 in the build up.

Two great sets of fans no chavs atmosphere will be great. Think that will take a lot out of wire

Wire to finish 1st or 2nd in the league. Us 3rd. I think the Catalans and Hull games in the league could be losses.

Hull almost deserved to lose that game for the biggest brain dead play in the history of the game. God only knows what they were playing at with 5 minutes to go to give Riley the intercept when 2 scores ahead. They just needed to get the forwards to play out the tackles and put a little kick in to run down the clock.

I really think Wire would have won that one had Briers of been playing.........

I also thought they had a couple of chances to put it away earlier on in the second half, which they fluffed. Had quite a few sets near the line, which they totally failed to capitalise on. Good defence in the dying minutes though.

Madness! The sign of a team that isn't used to those big, high pressure games.



Imagine Leeds in that situation! Sinfield dribbling it in to touch, taking his gum shield out with a face like a slapped ar*e looking as excited as when you get told you've got to have a tooth out.
