Shame if we let Bowes depart, a season getting plenty of game experience in the Championship would set him up nicely for Superleague if we get there.
If Eseh goes to Sts then that’s a loss but a great move for him so sad but good luck Sam
Windrow has never been given a chance so it’s sad to see him go without knowing if he’s going to be a good in or not
Kershaw is a must keep especially in the Championship where his physicality and work rate will be an asset
Butterworth is no loss, he’s not good enough and maybe not even a squad player at Championship level - sorry
Overseas leaving I’m not bothered apart from Tanginoa who, if fit, would be a real force & part of a very powerful 2nd row
Powell is a huge step up from Applegarth, has good knowledge of the Championship and what it takes to win there
Carter, I suppose it makes sense but him and Minards can’t be gone fast enough for me!

I've also heard speculation on the last one, from a decent source, if there is such a thing.
Bowes and Eseh would be the only ones I would be disappointed to see go.

Damn shame about Eseh. They could turn him into another Walmsley and he stars for them for 10 years after modest beginnings. If only we could convince him to stay and pay him a few Bob.

It's only when people post things about individuals that are defamatory in some way, or misleading about the person.

No harm talking about possible player or coach signings.

If all overseas players are going, that would include Tanginoa unfortunately

If true, Powell as coach would be a HUGE step in the right direction.

You would expect Hull KR to be in for a few considering their lack of a production line of their own.

They owe our academy a few quid one would think.

I think if the club is going to have a big overhaul ie coaching and especially our dud oversea players then it will actually bring abit of excitement and anticipation to the supporters for the first time in a long time.

Also, when we say overhaul the overseas list, does that include France?
I'd definitely keep Franco. He'd be high on my list to retain.

If Sts want Eseh then he should absolutely go - they offer more than we could in terms of development, even if we were in SL.
Butterworth/Windrow - might be good in 3 years time - no good for us now.
Thought Kershaw was tipped for Cas, so if he stays, that's a bonus.
Make's sense for Carter to ensure transition - whether we like him or not, he's "in the know".
Powell as coach would be a real statement.
Would be a shame to lose Tanginoa and Whitbread.

I like Tanginoa but only when he’s playing.
We can’t afford to have players off the field or part time on it ( Proctor) all the overseas players can go for me- let’s start again!

Got to admit all the overseas players have got to be( apart from Dave,) one of the worst bunch we have had in one season at Wakefield

I thought Langi was fine. Played well enough when someone could actually pass him tge ball in his actual position.
Proctor was a dud.
Atoni was a dud for most of the season
Tanginoa was injured
Taufua was a wasted signing
Lino has had good games but needed some help. Needed to be better
Obviously Dave was outstanding

If the French lads count then
Salabio wasn't on the field enough to know
Franco was a great find and I'd sign him.

And with all that in mind, our overseas signings need to be strong signings. It can make or break the season.

Let's hope JD and Dave can spot some talent for us.

Not sure if Powell would come if he doesn't have some input into the squad. He signs players who he thinks will buy into his standards and that means talking to them first.
