He’s been colossal for us the back end of the year. If its looking like we are going to have abit of a rebuild on for next year, we really need to tie this lad down.

Well he has been named in Team of the Week a couple of times and sure he has come up on radar elsewhere.

Outstanding contribution to the squad ,good solid no nonsense prop .Just like to add that I thought battye and Arona also stood up well against some ferocious tackling especially when Wigan lifted the intensity when they knew the game was slipping away , and Bowden had his best game so far for me

Imo Tini deserves another 12 month if he’s up for it , worked like a Trojan against that much younger Wigan pack yet never got dominated.

All of our forwards upped their game and they completely dominated the Wigan pack for 80 minutes, brilliant !

I would like to see tini stay, with regards jai isnt there an option for a second year if so as long as we stay up im sure he will be here, with regards others apart from batch id be happy with a clear out and a re build

100% agree Tini could do another year, he’s just so bloody consistent and the bloke just oozes respect from his team mates. I was watching Paul Gallen Mic’d up the other day and Tini is on it, scores a nice try too!

There is but I wonder in who’s favour it is. I’m 50/50 on Arona. If you’d asked me 6 weeks ago I’d have said no but he has been good lately. I’m split on it to be honest.



I suppose it depends on what is available also.



Whether Fifita and Arona stay or go they have both been excellent club men for trinity so credit to them both.



I fully expect Eseh to get a run of games next season and I think I would like to probably see Shaw/Aydin get a few games too.



Whitbread must be signed imo. We do need to be looking for the next Fifita and the next Arona though.

I'm thinking Shaw might fill in a gap at Hull this Friday.

When we played you at Belle Vue earlier in the season Tini looked shot but he seems to have found a new lease of life in the last few weeks. Got to sign Whitbread if you can.

Would think it would likely be Windrow who’s an actual second rower and possibly the only second rower left in the squad not injured. Assuming Pitts doesn’t make it in time.

He has come under the spot light at least at one particular Super League team in the last three or four weeks. Wakefield could certainly do worse than tie this lad to a long term contract, if possible.

I agree. Arona has rolled back the years over the last few games, but next season I feel may be a bridge too far. The guy is Trinity through and through and is up there with the best imports we've had but you can only push your body so far.

Agree re Whitbread the guy has been a bit of a revelation recently, him, Eseh, Aydin, Shaw etc are the way forward - assuming we stay up, of course!

I was thinking more of his mobility and enthusiasm rather than his label.

Think it’s a risky move playing a young prop who’s used to the middle on the edge. Could destroy the lads confidence if he has a mare. Think it’s more the defensive positioning and angles that would worry me. I’d try avoid that scenario if possible. I can see what you mean with his athletic look but think it would be too much. Windrow is at least a second rower but I’m hoping that Pitts hand has healed enough to get out there but we will have to see. Might be difficult to fill that right SR spot.



Would be a huge opportunity for Windrow if needed. But we should go with the best available.

Willie didn't seem 100% sure whose favour the option was in but good news he's staying. The was a rumour flying around social media that Leeds were sniffing around so glad to put that to bed.

He's been very good, and unilke most of the others, very consistent week in week out. Along with Murphy, then probably Hall, he'd be my player of the season.
